Part 0 - Hello world!

Welcome to my mid-life crisis travel blog!

If you haven't heard, I'm off travelling round the world for the next wee while.

And as an early adopter of the latest trends in technology, I thought a blog might be the best (i.e. least effort) way to let people know where I am and what I'm doing.

Once the novelty wears off, this blog may get updated infrequently or even not at all. So please don't think I've been kidnapped, robbed, and buried in the desert if nothing new appears.
